Future Wisconsin Executive Retreat

This reimagined, invite-only event will bring together the top executives from Wisconsin’s premiere companies. Retreat attendees will connect and develop resilient solutions to create sustained economic success across the state. Over this two-day retreat, exclusive discussions amongst an intimate group of thought leaders and industry experts will center on topics including workforce, health care, education and Wisconsin’s economic future.

Replacing the annual Future Wisconsin Summit, this retreat will continue our commitment to The Future Wisconsin Project, which addresses our state’s long-term systemic, economic challenges. In 2020, the Future Wisconsin Project conducted dozens of interviews with economic stakeholders to discover the biggest challenges facing the state and understand potential solutions. The Project also conducted research and examined best practices from around the country to ultimately release the Wisconsin 2035 report – which outlines a 15-year economic blueprint for the state. The publication identified the need for talent attraction, retention and expansion along with reforms to Wisconsin’s tax climate and K-12 education system. Since Wisconsin 2035 was released, WMC Foundation has released follow up reports on the state’s demographics and education. To grow the Project’s impact, this retreat will unite the state’s most influential business leaders to develop solutions essential to long-term economic prosperity in Wisconsin.
